Jable de Tao 2022

Made by Gran Canaria native Carmelo Peña (Bien de Altura), the wines of Jable de Tao take Lanzarote's vinous output to a new level. This is a blend of 70% malvasía volcánica with small amounts of listán blanco, diego and direct-pressed listán negro. Fermented in oak foudres and concrete, it's an exquisite representation of the volcanic terroir of this special island. Chalky and textured with sea salt, wood spice, lemon peel, nispero and unripe pineapple.
