Dominio del Águila Pícaro del Águila Clarete 2023

A clarete is a co-ferment of red and white grapes traditional to parts of northern Spain. From Ribera del Duero, this is one of the finest that money can buy. Winemaker Jorge Monzón used to work at Domaine de la Romaneée-Conti in Burgundy and is now making a big name for himself in Ribera. This wine spends two years ageing in barrel. You should probably keep it for four or five years but can you wait that long?
