Domaine Le Roc des Anges Segna de Cor 2023

An extremely finely textured red, the likes of which are rare in Roussillon. A blend of grenache, syrah, carignan and cinsault, it is fermented with whole bunches and berries, which gives it a bright, light fruitiness. Fermented and aged on concrete tanks, so no oak flavours, just pure, silky berry fruit, sweet spices and a subtle smokiness. Medium-bodied rather than full. Really elegant. Roast duck or goose? Almost certainly.
