Domaine Gramenon Côtes du Rhône Blanc Vie On Y Est 2025

What a lovely find. This cuvée used to be pure viognier (hence the puntastic name, Vie On Y Est), but these days the richly aromatic viognier is blended with clairette, bourboulenc and grenache blanc. All the viognier and clairette comes from old vines. Headily floral with jasmine, sweet lime, pear, apricot, pineapple and bitter orange. It's almost as if it's emitting sun rays, with such sunny freshness shining through the richness. Unoaked and very food-friendly.
