You will struggle exceedingly to find a better red wine not just in Bulgaria but in all of Eastern Europe. Using massal-selected, high-density plantings of Burgundy clone Pinot, including cuttings from top Burgundy domaines, this wine is vinified with 20% whole clusters and aged in 228l second- and third-use Chassin barrels and Clayver ceramic amphorae for 18 months.

The vineyard is on fossilised limestone soil on Bulgaria's Black Sea coast. Elements of Vosne, elements of Dundee Hills.
