Made from 150-year-old ungrafted país bushvines located in Los Pellines, Trehuaco. The vines are planted on steep, dryfarmed slopes of decomposed granite soil.
Hand-picked grapes were destemmed and placed in an open tank for spontaneous fermentation with no temperature control, no pumping over and no sulphur added. After fermentation, the must was aged in a stainless steel tank for 10 months.
This is the most focused and elegant país I've ever tasted. Truly a benchmark of elegance for país - supposedly a 'peasant grape'.
Glacially pure, smooth, floral, red-berried and balsamic. Finesse, fine acidity and succulent minerality. Beautiful.
11.8% vol.
Unfined and unfiltered. 75cl. Contains sulphites (<15ppm).
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
